cloud service governance

Cloud services governance is a general term for applying specific policies or principles to the use of cloud computing services. The goal of cloud services governance is to secure applications and data when they are located remotely.

In many ways, cloud services governance can be viewed as an extension of SOA governance, although the unique properties of a public cloud architecture -- such as Multi-tenancy -- present different slightly different concerns. Ideally, cloud services governance complements or is integrated into existing governance processes and is viewed as an ongoing process, not a product.
