Boomi AtomSphere delivers range of integration capabilities

Boomi AtomSphere supports cloud-to-cloud, on-premises-to-on-premises, SaaS-to-SaaS and B2B integration while offering enterprises real-time, scalable application integration.

The Dell Boomi AtomSphere integration platform as a service (iPaaS) is a shared, multi-tenant platform that manages cloud-to-cloud, software as a service (SaaS)-to-SaaS, cloud-to-on-premises, on-premises-to-on-premises, and B2B integration. It supports real-time integration and elastically scales to meet high-volume demands in mobile, batch and electronic data interchange environments. It also delivers a range of integration, master data management (MDM) and platform extension capabilities.

By utilizing a library of prebuilt connectors and processes, developers build integrations such as content-based routing, process flow control, exception handling and messaging without coding. Companies of all sizes use AtomSphere to do things like automate a lead-to-cash process by integrating a Salesforce automation platform with an e-business suite, or to bring together multiple disparate data sources into a lead generation suite to help identify prospects.

AtomSphere's graphical user interface lets users drag and drop integration components, including connectors, maps, document property elements and start and end points, to visually model an integration process between two applications.  The platform offers comprehensive functionality to handle development, deployment, connectivity, security, monitoring, redundancy and resiliency.

The AtomSphere platform also lets users add additional products, such as API management and Boomi MDM that expand the reach and capabilities of the platform. This additional functionality enables the integration of outside capabilities like Web services, mobile-to-mobile and Internet of Things using common integration components.

AtomSphere provides a broad range of application and technology connectors as well as a connector software development kit (SDK) for custom connector development. AtomSphere supports the AtomSphere API that enables programmatic access to functionality that is normally accessed through the AtomSphere user interface.

Although AtomSphere is primarily a cloud-based integration platform, it supports two deployment models: a cloud deployment model that is used when all the integration endpoints are cloud-based, and an on-premises deployment model for use when any of the integration endpoints are within the corporate network. The on-premises model uses a lightweight Java application deployed on a host with Internet access.  This run-time component can be deployed on Windows or Linux operating systems.

AtomSphere is offered via subscription at a wide range of price points and options. The SMB-focused base option starts at $550 per month for integration of two applications. As a company's needs become more complex, Dell offers AtomSphere professional, pro plus and enterprise options. Professional is $2,000 a month with five integrations; pro plus is $4,000 a month with seven integrations; and enterprise is $8,000 a month with 10 integrations. Enterprise plus is available for large enterprises for the integration of 15 applications (pricing details can be found by contacting a Dell sales rep).  Each offering comes with a free 30-day trial and unlimited users.

Dell offers standard, premier and premier plus support packages:

Standard support is included at no charge with all Dell Boomi subscriptions. Premier support is available for professional, pro plus, enterprise or enterprise plus editions. The cost of premier support is 25% of the total annual subscription price, including extra data source connections, add-ons, and upgrades.  Premier support includes all features of standard support and unlimited case submissions, phone support, and eight-hour response time. Premier plus support is available only on enterprise and enterprise plus editions. The cost of premier plus support is 35% of the total annual subscription price ($25,000 annual minimum). It includes all features of premier support plus 24/5 phone support and chat with a four-hour response time.
