Among elements that add to the usefulness of the CouchOne Mobile edition, according to Katz, are replication and sync facilities that adjust to connectivity issues whether the Internet connection is slow, intermittent, or completely down. These same facilities help conserve battery life. At the same time the company announced CouchOne Mobile, it announced its name change from "Couchio" to "CouchOne."
