Actional's Control Broker adapter technology will be integrated as a component in BEA System Inc.'s WebLogic Integration 2.0. The joint solution is designed to lower the cost of integration and speed time-to-value for BEA WebLogic Integration customers integrating with SAP and PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning systems, the companies said. Actional is an application integration software company in Mountain View, Calif.

Empirix updates Bean-test

Empirix Inc., a provider of test and monitoring products for Web, voice and network applications, Waltham, Mass., has updated its Bean-test. The new version, 4.0, is designed to ease and expand the testing of Enterprise JavaBeans applications.

Oak Grove system's Reactor supports Web services

Oak Grove Systems's Reactor 5 for IBM WebSphere now supports Web services. Reactor 5 is a multi-platform, J2EE-based, XML-driven process engine for developing Java workflow applications. Oak Grove is in Altadena, Calif.

Infravio releases Enterprise Web Services Management System

Infravio Inc., Redwood City, Calif., is now selling Release 1.0 of its Enterprise Web Services Management System. It automatically generates XML code for new and existing applications, enabling their deployment as Web Services, and supports the leading Web Services standards, including Simple Object Access Protocol, Web Services Description Language, and Universal Description, Discovery and Integration.

NeoCore, Tactica partner

NeoCore, a provider of XML database management products in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Tactica, a Chicago business and technology consulting company, will jointly offer their products and services to provide tailored XML information management products.
