My-Channel creates Nirvana

My-Channels, London, has created version 1.1 of its message broker Nirvana. It now provides Java middleware messaging implementation, publish subscribe, point to point and a new peer-to-peer framework. Nirvana provides its complete middleware messaging framework on top of a suite of modular transport drivers.

EMC selling storage management middleware

EMC Corp., New York, is now selling WideSky, storage management middleware technology designed to address issues of managing a multi-vendor storage infrastructure. WideSky extends the power of EMC management software to non-EMC environments, the company said.

Sonic Software offers Web services platform

Sonic Software Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., introduced SonicXQ, a platform for Web services. It enhances Web services by providing XML processing support and integration on a secure platform, the company said.

Primordial releases WSBANG

Primordial, a Web services consulting firm in New York, announced the release of WSBANG! 1.0, an Simple Network Management Protocol--compliant Web services proxy designed to help master the paradigm shift towards Web services. It plugs into corporate networks and provides caching, monitoring, metering, micro-payment tracking, reporting and security and encryption.

CNet launches Visual Net Server 4.0

CNet Sweden, Stockholm, a developer of software for content publishers, launched Visual Net Server 4.0, an application server and integrated development environment for XML publishing and syndication applications. Visual Net Server 4.0 includes ready-to-go software for on-the-fly conversion of a large number of different data sources into XML - this includes SQL, Word, HTML documents, Web pages and delimited files, the company said.
