Snapbridge to debut data integration software

Snapbridge Software said it has developed XML-based data federation software that can integrate a variety of data types from a number of repositories to create composite objects for data transactions.

Snapbridge Software Inc., San Diego, said it has developed XML-based data federation software that can integrate a variety of data types from a number of repositories to create composite objects for data transactions.

The company said that its Snapbridge FDX uses XML for structuring and expressing information, allowing the system to operate on structured data and semi-structured content, such as documents and images, at the same time.

Snapbridge FDX fuses multiple data sources such as account detail from relational databases, flat file mainframe data, e-mail correspondence, digital images from content repositories, feeds from third-party resources and other information from the Internet to create composite objects that can be viewed or updated as part of a transaction, regardless of where the data is stored, how it is formatted or when it was created, the company said.
