VorteXML upgrade supports XSD schema

Datawatch Corp.'s VorteXML Designer application now welcomes your XSD schemas.

Datawatch Corp. announced today the availability of an upgrade to its VorteXML Designer tool that converts data into XML for Web services, application integration and other uses that require XML.

Version 3 includes new support for XSD schema and schema editing functionality.

Developers can use the desktop application to visually extract, map and change data from a structured text output into XML without the need for programming. It extracts string numeric and date-time formats from text data.

VorteXML Designer is part of a solution suite that also includes VorteXML Server.

New features in the upgrade include: support for XSD schemas; derives and generates XML schema from input data; generates custom XML schema from existing XSD, XDR or DTDs; search functionality; support for datetime and time input data; and more.

The tool is available and pricing starts at $599 for one license and $7,999 per server.
