The Open Group is dedicated to creating open systems standards and frameworks that support boundary-free information flow, holistic architecture and certifications. Its recent release is the Dependability through Assuredness (O-DA) Standard, a framework for building more dependable systems, assurance agreements for user and accountability in case of failures. In addition to O-DA, The Open Group created The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) enterprise architecture methodology and the risk analysis methodology Factor Analysis of Information Risk, or FAIR.
